Who are we?
The Quality First Experiences Study (QUEST) is a team of researchers from the School of Social and Family Dynamics at Arizona State University (ASU) and Child Trends (a national research organization). We have partnered with your child’s childcare program and teachers to understand how Quality First programs help children learn, grow, and be ready for Kindergarten. We would like to invite you and your child to participate in the project.
What is this project about?
We want to see how early childhood programs are helping children get ready for kindergarten. This study will help us understand what continued supports are needed for children, families, teachers, and Quality First providers across the state of Arizona. Your participation will help improve early education for children in preschools now and in the future!
Who can participate?
We are inviting children who will be attending Kindergarten next school year (Fall, 2026), their families, and teachers to join this project. Participants will be paid a stipend. (Parents/Guardians must be 18 years or older to participate.)
What is next?
Your childcare program will send you information and a consent form, which provides details about the project. To give your child permission to participate, simply fill out the quick online consent form.
