Lilah Kaplan
Lilah Kaplan is a speech-language pathology assistant and a senior at Barrett the Honors College at Arizona State University, majoring in Speech and Hearing Science with a minor in Family and Human Development. She has served as an undergraduate research assistant in the Positive Environments for Adolescents and Children (PEAC) Lab since the fall of 2023. With support from PEAC Lab, her research contributions include “Multidimensional Academic Performance and Bilingualism,” presented at the Arizona Psychology Undergraduate Research Conference (AZPURC) in Tempe, AZ, and “The Resilience in Social Environments (RISE) Project: Social Media Use and Adolescent Well-Being Pilot Study,” presented at the 3rd Annual RISE Conference in Tempe, AZ. Her most recent project with the PEAC Lab, conducted in collaboration with undergraduate colleague Ella Canada, is titled “Social Media and Adolescent Well-Being: A Systematic Review of the Positive Outcomes of Social Media Use.”. After graduation, she plans to continue working with children who have developmental speech and language disorders while furthering her education to become a speech-language pathologist.
