Janice Palmer

Janice Palmer is Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Government Affairs at Helios Education Foundation, leading Arizona and Florida policy strategy and investment opportunities that support and inform the Foundation’s work. Before joining Helios, she spent over 15 years with the Arizona School Boards Association as Director of Governmental Relations & Public Affairs and previously served as Communications Director for the Proposition 200 campaign and as an Arizona Senate Policy Advisor. She has been appointed to the Education Commission of the States by both Governors Ducey and Hobbs. Ms. Palmer serves on multiple boards and committees across Arizona and Florida, contributing to education, public policy, and workforce initiatives. She previously supported statewide efforts including Census 2020 and K–3 literacy policy. She holds magna cum laude degrees in English and Political Science from Arizona State University.
