Jun Sung Hong, PhD
Jun Sung Hong is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He is also a Visiting Professor at Ewha Womans [Women’s] University (summer) in Seoul, South Korea. For the past several years, he has primarily researched factors associated with bias-based bullying and peer victimization (both face-to-face and cyberbullying) of racial/ethnic minority, immigrant, LGBTQ, juvenile justice-involved, and economically disenfranchised adolescents and young adults in the United States. He has also collaborated with scholars in South Korea, Taiwan, Sweden, Scotland, Switzerland, Spain, Brazil, Peru, Germany, China, Hong Kong, India, Serbia, Belgium, and Ukraine on research projects. He is also currently on the editorial board for several peer-reviewed journals.
