DISI Undergraduate Research Fellowship

The DISI Undergraduate Research Fellowship provides financial support for two undergraduate SSFD majors from historically underrepresented or excluded groups to develop and complete an individual research project. Prior to the application, the student will have to find a faculty mentor, who will support them in their project, and identify the research questions that they want to tackle in their project. Research projects can be focused on any topic related to Family and Human Development or Sociology, and must be completed in one academic year. At the culmination of their fellowship, students will share their work through a written document or an oral presentation.
