The center employs ASU students as part-time classroom assistants. These positions are only available to currently enrolled ASU students. Preference is given to students who are eligible to receive federal work-study funding as well as to students who are enrolled in child development, early childhood education or a closely related field of study.

Under the guidance of the Child Development Associate or Assistant Professional, this role involves assisting with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate early education curriculum activities. The role also involves working in an environment that serves as a full day child care and preschool classroom with children between the ages of two and five years.
