Sanford Student Leader Club
Do you have a desire to volunteer in your community? Do you already volunteer and would like to recruit others who are service-minded to join you? Would you like to help plan Sanford School events like Homecoming, Night of the Open Door, and Freshman Welcome?
If you said yes to any of these questions, join the Sanford Student Leaders Club!
- There is no regular meeting time.
- Once or twice a month, get an email about a volunteering opportunity.
- Transportation is provided when needed.
- Attend the events that fit your schedule.
It is easy to become a club member! Just email Stacie Foster and she will put you on the email list.
Events from last year:
- Feed My Starving Children in Mesa- packing food boxes for starving children in underdeveloped nations.
- Andre House in Phoenix- preparing and serving Sunday dinner to the homeless.
- Maggie's Place- house cleaning, car washing, and sorting through donations for residents in a home for pregnant and parenting moms.
- Phoenix Children's Project-planning and doing activities with kids who spend time in after school and weekend care.
