Tsethlikai’s research focuses on the role children’s experiences and activities play in shaping their cognitive development and well-being.
Updegraff's interests focus on the role of family relationships in youth development from early adolescence to young adulthood.
Valiente's research interests include children's stress and coping, and the roles of parenting and temperament to children’s social and academic competence.
White trained in family and human development and in public health. She is interested in the ways in which U.S. neighborhood contexts, culture, and family processes come together to influence adolescent development.
Wilkens' expertise is in children's and adolescents' socio-emotional adjustment. She teaches undergraduate-level statistics, as well as graduate-level advanced quantitative methods courses.
